The performer was born on the 26th of November 1986 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the daughter of her dad Vincenzo and maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. At the age of six, her family moved to Point Pleasant New Jersey. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she got her education formal within New Jersey. She then attended Catholic University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in architecture. In addition, she was a player on the violin from the age of 4 and was known for her role as Violin Lady. Performances by her led to the use of her nickname. She also worked as instrumental teacher to the youngsters in the area. She also sang Free beginning in 1976 during the auditions for American Idol's sixth season when she was age 19. The show eliminated her at the 16th spot. She has also performed several other tracks, such as 'The Christmas Song (2009) and Out for Blood (2010). The singer has also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as well as other shows on TV. Antonella Barba became famous as an American after she was a contestant in American Idol's 6th season.
