Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actor and producer who is best famous for the roles she performed in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and The television series The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue is an American actor, producer and director who works in television and film. She began her acting career in theater and later appeared in a number of shows on television as well as independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with critical acclaim but also numerous nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Movie. In 1995 she debuted as Ariel on the stage as Ariel in The Tempest. The credits on stage are Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. In terms of her film career, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. In her television work, she's been recognized for her part as a regular character on ABC's cop drama High Incident.
